Pain has been a part of my life for a very long time. I remember getting headaches as a young child and as the years went on they became more intense and more frequent. The last 4 years have been the worst. Most 31 year olds my age are having families, are active and enjoying life. I on the other hand struggled to get through the day. I suffered from some level of pain every day and it wore me down emotionally and physically. It took me everything I had to just get through the work day and when I got home I crumbled onto the couch barely having enough energy to cook dinner. Most days I suffered in silence not wanting to burden my co-workers, friends and husband with my pain. It took a toll on my marriage because I couldn’t do the things we wanted to and the thought of having children was out of the question. How could I even think of bringing a child into the world when I probably wouldn’t be able to take care of him/her.
My mother, understanding what daily pain is like, told me about Paul and the work that he does. Even though he was a province away I made the effort to come and see him. The first few treatments were intense but I felt better quite quickly. After only 5 or 6 treatments I feel like I have been given a second chance at life. I cannot say that I don’t get a headache every so often but my daily pain is gone. I am amazed at how bright my future looks now. I feel fantastic, I have started exercising and enjoying outdoor activities again. My husband and I are even talking about having a family which I thought was never going to happen. Paul’s trigger point massage treatments brought me back to life and for that I am forever grateful! My mom even said the twinkle in my eyes is back which I know had been lost for a long time. I have a renewed hope that there is life without pain. Thank you Paul!
